BRIGHT SPLASHES
Heatwave
After the last 3 days of very hot weather, we finally had a break from the heat with a welcome thunderstorm, rain and a cool breeze earlier this evening.
The sky looked like a watercolour painting and after the storm finished, the sun made an appearance – mixing the grey sky with a warm yellow hue and highlighting the local buildings/garden with bright glows.
It was a lovely evening and I decided to go for a little walk to take some photographs of the sky, however on my journey out there were lots of beautiful moments in nature all around. Flowers with water droplets, leaves that curled like musical notation and even a snail making a brave journey across the pavement, venturing out to a new location.
