About

A couple of videos captured on train travels and commuting alongside a small introduction of words that I wrote and narrated to accompany the visuals as it played. (The audio fx samples were added through royalty free sound effects.)

#1 The Beautiful Journey

“Early morning trains, chased by sunshine so bright, it glows and it shines, warming passengers in light. The sun cascades through the trees on our route and the sound of the train whistles by like a flute. Countryside to city and day to night, look up from your phone sometimes, you’ll see the bright light.”

#2 Snow Motion

“Commuting in the winter, it feels so cold, my hands are numb and my feet feel old – the train is late, the platform is clear, early morning commuters aren’t even here. My train arrives and I board carriage seven, look out to see snowflakes tumble from Heaven. As we depart for London the snow rushes down, a train passes by and each face has a frown. I look at the commuters, they don’t notice me, they’re all caught in a world full of technology. Troubled minds and plans ahead, show through the snow covered window instead. Don’t worry, tomorrow is warmer they say, so enjoy the snowfall, go outside and play. The forecast is bright, I sure hope that they’re right, but for now don’t worry, it will all be ok.”
