Wingnut & Axle

A personal project created after being inspired by the Meyers Manx dune buggy for many years!

Everything shown was 3D modelled in ZBrush and when working on the buggy, a huge selection of reference images were used to keep everything as accurate as possible for all the different parts of the VW chassis and engine etc whilst building it all out.

To complete the project, I added a bit of artistic license for the final appearance of the car design build and added a driver named ‘Axle’ and his fellow passenger ‘Wingnut’ which were made from all the different kit parts to go on an adventure in the buggy!
